Our vast eBay knowledge also gives us the discretion to know which items will definitely sell from those that might not. If we accept your item to sell on eBay, it will most likely sell. Q: Why should I select a low starting price under $10 when my item is so expensive?

A: Donate-liquidate-eBay-it.com is an experienced eBay seller and has sold thousands of items on eBay. In our experience, selecting a very low starting price with our basic service and no initial charge creates buyer frenzy or bidding war and usually results in a higher selling price. For instance, we start 2 identical digital cameras with the same item description on eBay. The first was started with an opening bid of $199 and the second was started with an opening bid of $0.99. Both items sold, however, the first camera sold for a total of $199 and had only one bid while the second camera sold for $283 and had 31 bids.

A: Typically it takes around 30 days from the time we receive your item until the time you receive your check. It takes between 1 and 5 business days to list your item and the item runs at auction for 7 days. We will accept any item or set of items that are not prohibited by ebay with estimated values of $50 or more. If there's a market for it, we'll find it!. We use USPS, FEDEX Ground for our shipping so the item must be size and weight that FEDEX can ship. On valuable larger items we can list as "Local pick up only".

A short listing agreement must be completed and signed before we list your item(s), and is for the sole purpose of preventing any misunderstandings, and protecting both of our interests.

7. Why do we have to take possession of the item(s)?

Due to the fact that ebay holds the donate-liquidate-eBay-it.com; Trading Assistant responsible for all auctions listed, all items must be in our possession before listing, unless otherwise agreed to in writing, so that we may verify each item's description, and ensure that the item is shipped in a timely manner once the item(s) are sold. We provide you with a receipt for all merchandise left with us.

8. What selling options do I have available to me?

Our commission is a flat 33% for the basic or premium plan and it includes ebay's commission as follows:

30% of the first $600.00

25% of the reamaining Selling price up to $2,000 Over $2,000 negotiable.

10. What if an item sells below the $50 minimum estimated value?

On occasion, items will not perform to expectations, and ebay and donate-liquidate-eBay-it.com cannot guarantee any item's performance. donate-liquidate-eBay-it.com will commission all auctions at a minimum $9.99. It's in donate-liquidate-eBay-it.com interest to see that each item has a chance to succeed, and we do everything we can to make this happen.

11. What if my item doesn't sell?

If your item doesn't sell the first time, we'll re-list it a second time at no additional cost to you! If unsold the second time then you will have the option to re-list again. The minimum starting bid price for the Premium Plan would have to be lowered at least 25% for each additional re-list If an item remains unsold then it will be returned to you or donated to charity if you so desire.

12. Who sets the price?

The final selling price is set by the market. In the auction method of marketing, each item is sold to the highest bidder. Our job is to position your item(s) on ebay and draw the highest number of bidders to bid on them.

13. How long does the whole process take?

It depends on when we receive your items in relation to the date of our next auction and how quickly our buyers pay for their items. It can take up to two weeks to prepare a large collection for auction, but only a few days for a single item. Once an item is sold, it can take up to two weeks to collect the payment and make sure the buyer receives the item in satisfactory condition. At that point, we will mail your check to you.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please notify us within three (3) days and return the item(s) within seven (7) days of delivery for a full refund of your purchase price. Item(s) must be in sellable condition and include all original packaging upon return. Items listed "as is" are ineligible for return, so please bid accordingly.

Damaged Goods, Shipping Insurance is required with the Carrier.

You must purchase insurance at the time of your purchase in order to be covered for loss or damage during shipment. Please contact us within three (3) days of the items delivery to file a claim and to arrange for inspection of the damaged shipment.

If your item is damaged during Shipping and you DID NOT PURCHASE INSURANCE, we will not offer a refund of the purchase price

Payment Policy

To Buyer: Payment must be received within 48 hours of the close of the auction. If payment is not received within 48 hours, the auction will be revoked and a non-paying bidder alert will be filed. We will offer the item to the 2nd Chance Bidder if the bid meets the minimum or reserve price.
To the Seller: Once an Item is sold, it can take up to two weeks to collect payment and make sure the buyer receive the item in satisfactory condition. At that point, we will mail a check to you.

Privacy Statement

Protecting your privacy is important to the donate-liquidate-eBay-it.com. Therefore, we have established procedures to ensure that every reasonable effort is taken to protect your privacy. We DO NOT SELL or provide your information to outside companies or organizations.

SHIPPING

The buyer pays shipping costs to be calculated at the end of the auction plus a $1.00 to $50.00 handling fee. The handling fee is to cover packaging and labor costs only.

At this time eBay only lists UPS and USPS to calculate shipping charges but, OtherShipping Options Include: FedEx and when appropriate we will ship USPS. All items are shipped via FedEx Ground, Air or USPS.

Packages are automatically insured by FedEx up to the sum of $100.

Additional insurance is available for items of a higher value.
